Our Mission & Curation board
The New Art Magazine is dedicated to discovering and documenting the world’s most promising contemporary fine artists.
Curator Overview
We believe that original contemporary art should be accessible and transparent. Our platform bridges the gap between digital discovery and physical acquisition, supporting emerging painters, sculptors, and photographers directly from their studios.
1. What is our editorial mission?
Our mission is to bypass traditional art market gatekeepers, providing independent, in-depth documentation and direct sales links to help collectors acquire original contemporary art directly from vetted creators.
2. Where is the magazine based?
We operate active curatorial desks and logistics hubs in Prague, Czech Republic (Old Town Square) and New York, USA (Brooklyn art districts), facilitating global shipping and customs.
3. How is the platform funded?
The platform is funded through transparent $10/month Collectors Club subscriptions, priority artist review packages, and a flat 15% commission on monthly online auction consignments.
The Artis Nucleus Legacy
The New Art Magazine represents the modern, international evolution of Artis Nucleus, A.C., an altruistic civil association established in Mexico in 2015. Founded with the mission of promoting cultural, literary, and artistic diffusion, Artis Nucleus has spent over a decade connecting creators, translators, and educators across borders.
By transitioning from a regional non-profit cultural association to an international digital art magazine and auction platform, we carry forward our commitment to independent curation and commission-free exposure for emerging creators.
Founding Team & Co-Creators
Our platform is built on multi-disciplinary expertise. We bridge electronic communication engineering, psycho-pedagogy, literature, and visual arts to run a secure, global discovery network.
Carlos Alberto Ayala Ojeda
An Electronic and Communications Engineer, psychopedagogue, writer, musician, and translator. Carlos co-founded Artis Nucleus, A.C. and has served as Editor-in-Chief of its cultural magazine, as well as the specialized literary publications Giallo and Infinitus.
George Wildman
An art market coordinator and logistics expert linking Central European and American contemporary art circles. George coordinates catalog releases, consignment vetting, and active collector acquisitions between Prague and New York.
Editorial Independence
We select featured artists based on technical draftsmanship, conceptual voice, and curation board audit results.
Direct Connections
All artist features connect collectors directly with the creators’ studios, fostering direct creative support.
Altruistic Legacy
We honor our roots by charging zero commission to artists for editorial listings, preserving our original solidary model.
Educational Outreach: Artis Niños
We believe that art appreciation and creative writing start in early childhood. Through Artis Niños, we support creative education by coordinating children’s storytelling workshops, early talent showcases, and collaborative school projects.
This initiative invites young minds to explore visual media and writing, helping parents and teachers nurture the next generation of creative voices in a structured, non-commercial environment.
